The AAISG is an organization of Allergists/Immunologists dedicated to the advancement of our field in the state of Georgia.
Our society meets yearly for scientific and educational presentations by leaders in our field. The 2008 meeting was May 2-3 at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, GA. Topics for this meeting included new asthma guidelines, updates on CVID, advances in food allergy, and SLIT. Attendees received 6 CME credits for their participation in the meeting. Meeting fees are included in the yearly dues. Next year's meeting will again be at Callaway Gardens. The dates are yet to be determined.
AAISG members receive a yearly subscription to Allergy and Asthma Proceedings. Dues also help support the local allergy training progam at the Medical College of Georgia.
